FS: 2006 Ducati 999S – ZDM1UB5V96B015882 – 11,499 miles – $8799.00

This stunning 999S has only had 2 owners.  The first owner put the first 10,000 miles on this 999S and had the modifications performed locally including a Dyno tune with a power commander by Marty Dahl aka “The Duc Whisperer” .  This thing sounds and runs fantastic.  During its stay with current owner he unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy it as much as he had hoped but kept up on routine recommended care and maintenance.  It appears to be even cleaner and in overall nicer shape than when we first sold it in March of 2014!!

As the Ducati Superbike series continues to evolve, many Ducati enthusiasts have started to seek this Terblanche designed series out.   Those in the know, realize how fantastic these chassis are and what a great handing bike when set up properly.   I dug up the list of goodies on this one from our ad a few years ago..

Upgrades include::

• Termignoni 3/4 slip on exhaust
• Power Commander Dyno tuned by Marty Dahl
• Full Ohlins suspension, tuned by KFG Motorsports
• Aculign adjustable rearsets
• Braking wave rotors
• Ferracci billet gas cap
• Speedymoto gold pressure plate and open cover
• Speedymoto under fairing frame sliders and axle sliders
• Smoke tall windshield
• Sargent seat
• Paulimoto reservoir covers
• CRG levers
• STM slave cylinder and red fame plugs
• Ducati Performance carbon
• License plate relocator
• All receipts
• Red key and two black keys
• Manuals and code card
• Stock ECU included

Here is what the press say about these;

Riding a Ducati superbike feels like a privilege, it’s a very special experience. As soon as you’ve turned the key, pushed the starter button and waited for the deep rumble from the exhaust you know you’re in for a treat. From the early 916s through to the latest incarnation, the 999, the feeling is the same.   Exclusivity, that’s the key, combined with the knowledge that the bike you’re riding is at the absolute peak of its game. And riding a 999S is all this, and even more.   The 999S was everything I anticipated, and more. It’s simply the most rewarding bike I have ever ridden on track. This may sound like gushing praise but the week before I rode the Ducati I was testing the best Japanese 1000cc sportsbikes around Rockingham and the 999S knocked the socks off them. Not in performance terms, but more as a pure biking experience.

VERDICT

Stirs the emotions like no Jap superbike can.

Credits cards accepted, up to $150.00 documentation charge may be added.
