FS: 2016 Suzuki TU250X – JS1NJ4CA2G2100558 – 1,391 mi – SOLD

This TU250X was purchased new at Adventure Motorsports in Monroe,  the first owner had a fall at 400 miles, the dealer repaired all the damage to like new but because of the dollar amount to repair the insurance company branded the title as “rebuilt”.  A year later with just over 1000 miles on it, it was traded in for a bigger machine.  Current owner purchased it last August and only put on another 400 miles, sadly they requested us find a new home for it.  We just went over it, test rode, this bike is in fantastic condition!  Comes with a rear rack in place of passenger seat, we have seat as well.  These are cool bikes that tend to sell very quick for us.  Come grab this one!

Retro in appearance, but featuring fuel injection, the 2016 Suzuki TU250X is a fun around-town mount. Besides catching admiring glances, the TU250X gets around 80 mpg from its air-cooled motor. Light in weight with an agreeably low seat height, newer riders will find the TU250X instantly appealing

While the TU excels around town, don’t be afraid to head out on the highway, as the air-cooled, 249cc, fuel-injected Single is capable of cruising at freeway-legal speeds. Amidst the bustle of an urban setting, the lightweight (308 pounds dry) bike feels right at home; decent torque makes out-sprinting traffic leaving stoplights no problem. With the engine making just 16 horsepower (measured at the rear wheel on the CW dyno), you’ll row the five-speed gearbox and work the light clutch to keep the bike accelerating briskly. Top gear smoothes out unwanted vibes, but a quick pass requires a downshift or two. Even when riding at a spirited pace, we achieved 53 mpg.

One thing the TU has in spades is classic styling. The 18-inch wire spoke wheels, exhaust and headlight nacelle are all chromed. Other nice touches include the polished aluminum lower fork legs and engine cases, color-matched plastic fenders, side covers and pinstriped fuel tank.  The riding position is upright and neutral with a comfortable seat. That seat is just over 30 inches off the deck, which should allow most riders, regardless of their size, to get feet firmly planted on the ground. The TU’s light weight makes it manageable at slow speeds or simply getting into and out of parking spaces.
